This 18-amp instant power starter has a built in charger that provides automatic charging of internal battery. The start will not overcharge the battery and can be left on indefinitely. The start also monitors the battery with float-mode technology. The on/off switch has been upgraded to a rotary switch versus rocker switch, which prevents the starter from accidentally being turned on and the potential power drain.
